5:30-9:00 PM

Today we are in the middle of a bereavement crisis. From the coronavirus, police brutality and natural deaths, many have not had the privilege of time to grieve. Stress and trauma are difficult to acknowledge and address even to ourselves.

This webinar is for Pastors, Ministers, and Leaders in Ministry, Caregivers and Educators interested in learning how to counsel, support and lead programs for bereaved individuals and families in these times of crisis. Topics include:

  • Understanding grief as a healing process

  • The various theories of grief and needs of the bereaved

  • Balancing the stress of grief

  • Understanding the spiritual conflicts in grief with religion and God

  • Counseling skills: how to listen and ask appropriate questions that facilitate healing

  • How to set-up a bereavement ministry/support programs in your church or organization.

“We are so grateful to have partnered with Baltimore City Department of Public Works to educate our youth about their role in caring for the environment. Our students truly enjoyed the experience! It was eye-opening, engaging, and fun! I’m so glad they got a chance to utilize their creativity and talent for such a good cause! … We would love to have you back…!!”

Such a beautiful and busy day at Stillmeadow! Our youth spent the day learning about the importance of our connection to nature as well as our responsibility to the environment from Mark Cameron and Meghan Hazer from The Department of Public Works. Later they stenciled storm drains on our property, along Frederick Avenue and on Boswell Road. So stop by and view our decorative storm drains and beautiful PeacePark.
